Cougar Charms take first in Houston event

Tomball High School Cougar Charms Lauren Varney (background) and Michelle Santana donned “Mad Hatter” costumes while performing a military routine at the Marching Auxiliaries Contest in Houston. The Cougar Charms received first place overall in the competition. Their list of awards included: super sweepstakes; choreography awards for their military, modern, and lyrical dances; the high point award for their military and modern dances; first place for best technique and best in the super team division.
