A fundraiser for Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office Corp. Eric Davis will be held Wednesday, June 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Barbara Bush Library, located at 6817 Cypresswood Drive.

On June 7, Davis was riding his motorcycle in northeast Harris County when a driver exited a business driveway and collided with Davis. The impact threw Davis from his motorcycle and he sustained numerous injuries, including broken bones and a punctured lung.

Davis will require multiple surgeries and the Constable’s Office says expenses are mounting.

Constable Ron Hickman is holding the fundraiser to help Davis, a 16-year veteran of the department, with medical bills.

The event will include fried fish lunch plates, french fries, hush puppies and cole slaw for $7 each. Cash and checks are accepted. Make checks and donations payable to Eric Davis. To-go orders and more information about the event are available by calling Mark Herman at 713-557-4853.
