THS grad, Air Force pilot honored by city

blue star Tuesday, June 27, 2011 was proclaimed “Staff Sgt. Ronald Patterson, United States Air Force Day” in Tomball. Patterson, a 1991 graduate of Tomball High School, recently returned to Tomball on leave following a second tour of duty in Afghanistan, where he was assigned to an Army Special Forces unit. Prior to enlisting in the United States Air Force, Patterson served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. The proclamation was read by Mayor Pro-Tem Mark Stoll, after which Stoll presented a Blue Star service flag to Patterson’s father, Jon Patterson.
