|

TPD is the first police department to fly it. Hauck said the plane could serve many uses in the city, such as searching for fugitive, burglaries and fires. He said the GyroPlane implements increased service with less money. After flying in the GyroPlane, McCaul said he could see the plane also helping to secure border control. The GyroPlane is also available to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Air Support Unit. Operating the plane is Harris County Sheriff’s Office Air Support Unit Officer in Charge and Chief Pilot Donnie Plant (right).
