Tomball Downtown Specific Plan Public Workshop

On Tuesday, July 19, the City of Tomball will be hosting a public workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Community Center, at 221 Market Street, Room A to discuss the progress of the Downtown Specific Plan. This workshop will be a great opportunity for the public to learn about the plan, hear about the progress made to date and provide input on the direction of the plan.

In early 2011, the City kicked off the Downtown Specific Plan effort to guide future development and redevelopment of downtown Tomball. The plan will translate long-range planning into regulatory policy, including providing specific zoning and design standards for downtown. There will be another public workshop in September to review the draft plan followed by City Council’s anticipated adoption of the plan by the year’s end.
