The Texas Renaissance Festival will hold its annual Job Faire on Saturday, Aug. 13, and Sunday, Aug. 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is looking to hire approximately 500 seasonal employees for the 2011 festival.

The job faire will feature on-site interviews for a variety of part-time to full-time seasonal positions, with competitive compensation opportunities. Available positions include concessions, sales, cashiers, admissions, specialty shops and more. The job faire will be held outdoors at the Texas Renaissance Festival grounds. The festival features nearly 400 shops, most of which are seeking employees for the season.

Interviews will be conducted by individual vendors and may require applicants to stay on-site for the day. Applicants are encouraged to dress in comfortable professional attire with suitable walking shoes.

Potential employees must have outgoing, adventurous personalities and be available to work Saturdays, Sundays and Thanksgiving Friday from Oct. 8 through Nov. 27. Additional dates may be required. The Texas Renaissance Festival is an outdoor, all-day event, rain or shine and all employees will be dressed in Renaissance-themed costumes during festival hours.
