AAR Pet of the Week |
|
Cody is a 4 ½-year-old male Labrador mix. He was found in Magnolia on a cold and rainy day in a neighborhood on FM 1488. He has been living at Abandoned Animal Rescue going on two years now. He does have a few faults and maybe that’s why. Cody is good at opening latches, so AAR volunteers need to make sure his inside and outside runs are securely locked. He is also not good with some other dogs, so he probably needs a home with no other dogs. He also needs to be an outside dog because he does sometimes like to mark his territory. Other than that he is a friendly guy with people, especially if he knows he can trust you. Cody likes to smell the roses, play tug-of-war and fetch, though sometimes he does not bring it back. He would make a great companion for someone who lives alone or their spouse is gone a lot. He would also make a good presence to ward off strangers. Cody would just like to hang out with you in the backyard and be petted often.
