Buddy is a 2 ½-year-old male Shepherd mix. He was seen for a few days hanging around a business on Spring Cypress and Stuebner Airline. He was scared and no one could catch him until they started feeding him to gain his trust. The business owners were able to save Buddy and get him into Abandoned Animal Rescue. He was scared for awhile with all the dogs barking and strange people around, but after being at AAR for more than two months, he has settled in, is not afraid and likes everyone. He did have heartworms and has been treated, but has not been able to run and play with other dogs. He weighs about 42 pounds and seems to get along with other dogs. He is good with everyone he meets. Buddy is a mellow guy who keeps his kennel clean. He walks well on a leash and would love for someone to take him for walks, give him hugs and kisses and give him his own special spot in the house.
