Murdock named 2011 Teen Volunteer of the Year

Katie Murdock has been named the 2011 Teen Volunteer of the Year at Lone Star College – Tomball (LSC-Tomball) Community Library. Logging 108.5 cumulative hours over the past four years, she has participated in every aspect of the volunteer program including volunteering additional hours for special projects. She also volunteers at her church and for homeschool events. Murdock who graduated in May was homeschooled and is a member of the Heaven Sent Homeschool Choir. She has been accepted into the Veterinary Technology program at LSC-Tomball.
