AAR Pet of the Week |
|
Lexy is a 1-year-old female Chihuahua mix. Her owner was homeless and they were living on the streets when she had an accident. She was sitting in his lap when she got scared and jumped off and hurt her leg. A Good Samaritan saw this happen and took her to the veterinarian. Lexy really did a number on her leg. It was broken in a couple of places and was not repairable. The Good Samaritan paid for her amputation and they thought it would be best if Lexy did not live on the streets anymore. She does not weigh much, so it is easy for her to get around. Lexy is an adorable love bug and the sweetest thing in the world. She loves attention and kisses. She needs a stable life with a responsible family who will give her the world. For more information about Lexy, call Abandoned Animal Rescue at 281-290-0121, or email aarescue03@yahoo.
