Turlington elementary in Waller dedicates new track

Students released colorful balloons into the sky as a ribbon cutting ceremony took place at the new track located behind Evelyn Turlington Elementary School recently. Pictured (from left) are Waller ISD’s SHAC Coordinator and teacher, Lindsey Gray and PTO President Denielle Fourrier. Gray said, “We are so happy to have a safe place for our kids to enjoy physical activity and improve their health.” Gray and PTO officers grabbed students’ hand to run the first lap around the track while the remaining students and staff released their balloons.
