Magnolia West FCS welcomes 300 students |
|
The Family Consumer Science Department at Magnolia West welcomed 300 students to their program for the 2011-12 school year. Each student is enrolled in a class that follows a career pathway which consists of; human services, education and training and hospitality and tourism. Classes are underway, TEKS are being introduced and the energy level is high as the three teachers prepare the students for another successful year. The student-led organization, FCCLA, is being presented to each class and dues are being collected. The goal is to beat last year’s enrollment of 120 members and to take more teams to region, state and national competitions.
