Lyon Elementary helps victims of recent wildfires

Third graders at J.L. Lyon Elementary participated in H.A.T. (Helping Alleviate Tragedy) Day. Students were asked to bring a dollar on Sept. 23 in order to wear a hat and help those who had lost their homes to the recent wildfires. The fundraiser was a success with $1,956 being raised for local families.
