Waller honors student with Muscular Dystrophy |

Waller High School student David Gonzalez (center) served as honorary team captain for the Waller High School football game Sept. 23 against the Spring Woods Tigers. As honorary team captain, David went out to midfield for the coin toss. The night was dedicated to “Coach to Cure MD” and was also the Homecoming football game night. David and “Coach to Cure MD” continue to raise awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy with a goal of finding a cure. David is pictured with the officials and varsity team receiving the half-dollar that was used in the coin toss.
