Scruffy is a 12-year-old male Bichon. He was found wondering around Main Street in Tomball in front of Charlotte's Saddlery. This poor guy was walking around bumping into things, starving, flea infested and his hair was matted two inches thick. He was taken to the vet and had to have 21 teeth pulled and had a laceration hole in his eye. After six weeks of treatment his eye has healed, but he still has cataracts and can probably only see shadows. He does have heartworms, but as of now he is on heartworm preventive until the medicine that is used to treat heartworm disease is available again. He has also had Urinalysis tests and Blood work and the vet gave him a clean bill of health. Scruffy is a sweet friendly guy who gets along well with everyone. He is content being held and he would quickly learn the layout of a house. He wants to be with you, does not like to be in a crate much and he sleeps through the night.
