Ellie is a 2 ½-year-old female Jack Russell mix. She was rescued off of the side of the road and brought to AAR. She has been in a foster home for a little while recovering from heartworm treatment. When Ellie is happy she likes to wiggle her little tail. She just loves her squeaky toys and does not want to live without them. Ellie is not destructive in the house or the back yard. She sleeps through the night in her crate. She does not mind wearing sweaters when it is cold and walks well on a leash. Ellie wants to be around her master all the time, whether it be cooking, on the computer and especially on your lap on the couch. All AAR dogs have up to date shots, have been wormed, spay/neutered, checked for heartworms, microchipped and you recieve a six month supply of heartworm preventive when adopting.  Abandoned Animal Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located at 419 E.
