FFA - Poultry winners

PoultryStudents Kaitlin Matula (left), Courtney Bednarek (center) and Christa Bednarek (right) show off their market broilers from this year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Several Magnolia ISD students took part in this year's livestock show. Of those participating from Magnolia ISD, five students placed well enough to sell in the live auction. Students who placed in the top 100 in their respective categories were Christa Bednarek, 98th place pen of pullets; Taylor Barton 99th place pen of pullets; Courtney Bednarek, 57th place pen of pullets; Trey Crone-Barrett, 17th place turkey hen; and Cody Barrett, 36th place turkey hen.
