MWHS Class of 2012 donates first school flag |
|
The Magnolia West High School (MWHS) Class of 2012 recently donated the school's first flag in a ceremony marked especially for the event. Event Coordinators Lisa Bodway and Lisa Collier worked with the class since the summer before their freshman year to design and coordinate the efforts, with funds raised by the students selling class shirts. Additional donations from families brought the flag to life which was designed by MWHS Principal Rob Stewart. The flag was raised into the air during the ceremony by Class of 2012 representatives (left to right) Chase Hendricks, Class President Anthony Ojaeda, Samone Johnson, Kendall Henley, Haley Collier, Allie Burnett and Allie Sullins.
