Waller band wins area contest

The Waller High School Marching Band and Color Guard won first place at the UIL Music Area E High School Marching Contest Oct. 29. The Marching Band was one of two high schools in the area that will advance to the UIL State Marching Competition Nov. 8. The band advanced two years ago and placed in the top 20 high school bands in Texas.
