Bell earns rank of Eagle Scout

eagle scout Ryan Daniel Bell, of Troop 1114, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Ryan joined Boy Scouting in 2004. Outside of Scouting, Ryan has excelled in athletics and music at Concordia Lutheran High School. As a ninth grader, Ryan was moved into varsity athletics from the freshman class due to his continuous hard work in the weight room.  In both his sophomore and senior years, he broke world records in power lifting. During his senior year of football he was elected team captain, received the distinction of Most Valuable Player on Defense, made first team all-district, second team all-state and second team Lutheran all-American Defensive lineman. Ryan has also served in a lead role in one of the school musicals. After graduation, Ryan plans to attend Lone Star College and has aspirations to get a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and afterwards attend Law School. Ryan’s Eagle Project benefited the Magnolia United Methodist Church and greatly improved the appearance of the church by removing an unsightly and unsafe gravel area under the church sign and replacing it with concrete.
