Tomball's Schaffer selected for West Point

Tomball High School senior Eric Schaffer received a Military Appointment worth $450,000 to attend the United States military Aaademy at West Point, N.Y. Schaffer will graduate from West Point as an officer in the army, and will serve at least eight years in the military. Schaffer plans to earn a degree in international studies. He would also like to become an infantry officer. He is currently the Senior Class Treasurer, National Honor Society Treasurer, and the Battalion Commanding Officer of the NJROTC at Tomball High School.
