Tomball comes together to help former student

Members of the Tomball community and Tomball High School (THS) came out to help unload a truck of furniture donated to the Williams family, by Gallery Furniture Dec. 19. The Williams’ son Shane suffered brain damage after a heart attack in 2007. Shane was a THS student at the time and now requires constant care. THS students, faculty and others have helped build an addition to the family’s home which includes a handicap accessible shower. Gallery Furniture provided the family with new furnishings as part of its annual holiday giving promotion. Tomball Mayor Gretchen Fagan was also on hand to proclaim it Shane Williams Day in Tomball.
