Denali is a four-year-old male Heeler Aussie mix. He was found at the intersection of FM 149 and FM 1774 in Pinehurst. Lethargic and covered in fleas and ticks, he was taken to a veterinarian, cleaned up and given a clean bill of health. Denali was suffering from extreme exhaustion, but has since recovered. His foster family said he is a mellow dog who loves long walks and does well on a leash. Denali is completely crate trained, loves big dog pillows, seems very attentive and knows the word “no.” He will make a great companion for someone looking for a low maintenance, laid back dog. He has had a hard life, but is grateful for the good life he has now with his foster family and looks forward to meeting his forever family.
