MISD holds annual Rodeo Art Show |
|
Magnolia ISD held its annual Rodeo Art Show sponsored by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Jan. 13. The school art committee judges reviewed all of the district’s artwork entries. Magnolia High School senior Katlynn Hallisey’s piece titled “Bone White” and junior Katrina English’s piece titled “The Original Alarm” (pictured) were selected as Gold Medal winners. They will have their artwork on display at Reliant Arena for the duration of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo season and will be honored at a special ceremony March 3. They will also have the opportunity to have their artwork compete against the artwork of other Houston area winners for a chance to be auctioned in the Rodeo’s School Art Auction.
