The fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the commons area of Magnolia High School.

Exhibits at the fair will cover a variety of subjects. Fair-goers will be able to gather information about self-advocacy support groups, funding sources for college and post-secondary education, family recreation opportunities, new technology, legal options for families, financial planning and social, medical, vocational, residential and day programs.

At 9 a.m. Kathy Richardson will present “Resources Every Parent Should Know About.”

At 10 a.m. Laura G. Buckner with Family to Family will present “Making the Journey with the Destination in Mind.”

At 11 a.m. Buckner will also present “How to Create a Student Introduction Portfolio.”

Also at 11 a.m. Juanita Gonzalez with the Social Security Administration will present “SSDI/SSI/Plan for Achieving Self-Support (PASS).”

At noon presenters Steve Rhatigan and Lisa Wilson will host “Estate and Financial Planning and Guardianship.”
