House destroyed by fire in Magnolia

Fire An April 20 fire on Decker Woods Drive in Magnolia destroyed a home after officials say lightning may have struck the home. According to Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department Chief Rusty Griffith, neighbors reported to fire fighters that lightning struck the home during a thunderstorm, sending the home into flames. Griffith said no residents were injured in the blaze, but a fire fighter was treated for a minor neck injury due to falling debris. According to Griffith, the fire resulted in a “total loss” of the home.
