The Magnolia High School UIL Accounting team competed May 26 in Austin at the UIL Academic State Meet and came away as the 4A State Champion with a team score of 1,018. The four-member team is made up of four seniors. Earlier this year, this team won first place and took first, second, third and fourth individual places at the district meet. When the team competed at the regional level, they again won first place and took first, third, fourth and seventh individual places.
