Former THS Assistant Principal honored with memorial
Gloria Monzingo along with her granddaughters (from left) Evynn Monzingo, 5, Ellie Monzingo, 2, and Jordyn Barkhausen, 8, admire a memorial stone in honor of Gloria’s husband, Ed Monzingo, who was an assistant principal at Tomball High School. After Ed passed away in 2008, the Tomball High School Student Council wanted to memorialize its assistant principal with an engraved stone at their campus. The 2008 and 2009 members of the Student Council purchased and designed the memorial, which is engraved with one of Ed’s favorite sayings. The memorial will be placed outside Tomball High School.
