County Animal Shelter, Dog Club to hold free vaccination clinic

The Montgomery County Animal Shelter and The Woodlands Dog Park Club, together in a Partnership For Paws initiative, are jointly sponsoring a free pet vaccination clinic on June 20 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Precinct 2 County Barn, located at 38927 FM 1774 in Magnolia.

In addition, half price spay and neuter surgeries can be scheduled (some free for citizens on assistance).

“Spaying or neutering your pet will not only help them live longer, preventing many cancerous conditions that could occur, but will prevent unwanted litters from flooding our local shelters,” program coordinator Bob Herrell said.

The Woodlands Dog Park Club has provided more than 500 vouchers to cat and dog lovers throughout Montgomery County during the program, and has donated more than $200,000 to the cause of helping homeless animals in our area.
