Waller 4-H takes part in District show
Wyatt McKeever made his horse show debut with Smasha Star at the District 9 4-H Horse Show in Katy. He placed seventh in Halter Mares. Others who took part in the show included Melanie and Megan McBride in Speed Events and Trail, Cody Allred in Working Cow Horse, Team Penning and Western Pleasure Futurity, Pam Schooley in Team Penning, Working Cow Horse and the Yearling Gelding Futurity and Chesla Douglas, who showed in the 3-year-old Stock Horse Futurity, Team Penning, Hunter Under Saddle and placed third in Working Cow Horse on Sugarwood Scorch. The Waller County 4-H Horse Club will begin meeting again in September at Carl’s Barbecue on the second Tuesday of each month. For more information about the club, call 281-924-2509.
