Tomball Chamber parade goes international with Holidays Around the World

parade theme Here in the middle of summer the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is thinking ahead to the holidays. Last week committee chair Janie Aud-Riney announced the theme for the 2009 Tomball Holiday Parade, scheduled for Nov. 21. This year’s theme is “Holidays Around the World.”

“We can’t wait to see what people will create with their floats this year,” Aud-Riney said. “This theme incorporates every possible holiday from around the globe. I’m hoping someone will choose the Chinese New Year for a float theme.”

The 2009 Tomball Holiday Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Nov. 21. The annual event, which has a 44-year-history, heralds the season of holidays in the greater Tomball area. For more information contact the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce online at, TomballChamber.org, or call 281-351-7222.
