Rotary Citizen of the Year Hillegeist donates to charities

As part of the recognition for being named Citizen of the Year by the Tomball Rotary Club, Bruce Hillegeist was given $1,000 by the club to donate to a charity of his choice. At the July 28 meeting of the Tomball Rotary Club, Hillegeist presented two checks, $500 each, to Shield Bearers Counseling and Operation Military Embrace. Pictured (from left to right), Debbie Reed, Jerry Reed and Brenda Kaiser of Operation Military Embrace, Hillegeist, and Roy Wooten of Shield Bearers Counseling. The club also donated $1,000 each to Baby and Me and Home of Hope.
