WHS names homecoming queen, king |
|
Brittany Moody (center) was crowned Waller High School Homecoming Queen on Sept. 25, and seniors Miller Pierce (left) and Tyler Bain (right) tied for King. Moody has been a member of the Waller High School Marching Band for four years, where she served as drum major for two years. In addition to participating in band, she has participated in TAFE and speech and debate. Moody plans to attend Sam Houston State University majoring in elementary education. Pierce has played football and baseball, and is a four-year member of the Ping Pong Club. Miller hopes to attend Texas Christian University after graduation and major in either Business of Criminal Law. Bain said he was “on top of the world” when he was crowned Homecoming King. Throughout Bain’s four years in high school, he has played football and baseball, and is a member of the Rodeo Club. Bain has hopes to play baseball in college and would like to attend either Baylor or Texas A&M University.
