Magnolia churches team up to serve free Thanksgiving dinner

The Upper Room Fellowship and Wildwood United Methodist churches, both of Magnolia, will be serving dinner on Thanksgiving day to help feed the “less fortunate people of Montgomery County,” said organizer Judy Albright.

“There are so many people in this county that are having trouble with the holidays,” she said.

Albright stressed that all are welcome to come, even those not living in the area.

“We are available for anybody who needs fellowship,” she said.

The feast will begin at 11 a.m. at the Montgomery County Community Center on Friendship Drive in Magnolia and will last until “we don’t have any more people to feed,” said Albright.
