Toys for Tots program kicks off in Tomball

The 2009 Tomball Toys for Tots program is currently underway, with two primary drop-off locations. Those spots include Klein’s Super Market, located at 1200 Main St., and Safeco Storage Solutions, at 23410 Snook Lane. The program benefits underprivileged children in the Tomball/Northwest Harris County area. The Tomball Program is conducted by the Houston Chapter, 1st Marine Division Association, Inc. Last year, the Tomball program received donations of more than 500 toys, which helped 200 families. Donations can be dropped off until Dec. 11.
