THS to hold dress drive for Giving Gown

Tomball High School Senior Girls Club officers (from left to right) Lauren Ramirez, Jillian Gamboa, Jessica Garcia and Izzy Wagner display dresses that will be donated to the Giving Gown Foundation – a non-profit organization that provides new and like-new formal gowns for girls who might not be able attend prom in the spring. The foundation reaches out to girls who are in need of a dress, shoes and accessories. Giving Gown Foundation organizers plan to provide gowns to 500 girls this year, and hope to provide tuxedo rentals to at least 50 young men. The Senior Girls will be accepting gently worn formal and semi-formal dresses for the Giving Gown Foundation on Dec. 3-4 between 6:45 and 7:20 a.m. at Tomball High School, 30330 Quinn Rd.
