Chamber accepted nominations for Citizen of the Year Award

The Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its 2009 Citizen of the Year Award.

Each year, the Chamber recognizes an individual for his or her outstanding service to the community and announces the recipient of the award at the Annual Chairman’s Ball, which will be on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.

To be considered for this award, candidates must live or work in the greater Tomball area and their contribution to the community should be in civic, community, professional service, church involvement and/or service to the Chamber of Commerce or other organizations.

Nominations are being accepted through Monday, Dec. 7 and will be reviewed by the Citizen of the Year Selection Committee, chaired by Mary Harvey, the Chamber’s 2008 Citizen of the Year.
