Cub Scouts clean up county road for community service project

cub scouts Cub Scout Pack 565 from Tomball recently cleaned-up a portion of North Eldridge Parkway as one of its ongoing community service projects. The Pack recently adopted the stretch of North Eldridge that runs from the new Kelin Fire Station 36, south to Gregson Road as part of the Harris County Pct. 4 Adopt-A-County-Mile clean-up program. They braved the cold weather on Jan. 9 to perform their first clean-up. Parents supervised and helped the boys pick up trash along the roadway and medians in the hopes that the boys will learn to take care of their community.
