Joy Riders saddle up for Rodeo horse show

Nicole Larson prepares for the JoyRide Center’s recent competition in the Top Hands Horse Show at the Reliant Arena as part of this year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Each year the show provides an opportunity for special needs children to take part in a judged horse show. Events include Showmanship, Western Equitation, English Equitation and Working Trail. Larson was among five participants from JoyRide Center, based in Magnolia, who took part in the competition Feb. 19-21. For more information about JoyRide, visit joyridecenter.org.
