Tomball to host emergency response training class

The Tomball Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will be holding a training class each Tuesday from March 23 to May 11. Each class will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Tomball Fire Department main station, located at 1200 Rudel Street in Tomball.

 

The eight-week CERT class includes training on disaster preparedness, fire suppression, medical triage and treatment, light search and rescue, disaster psychology and CERT organization and terrorism awareness.

 

The CERT program is offered by the Tomball Fire Department and Harris County Citizens Corp at no charge to the participants. All class materials will be furnished.
