| Ch.13 reporter and Tomball grad shares exchange experience |
At the Tomball Rotary Club’s March 24 meeting, ABC Channel 13 news reporter Sonia Azad discussed her recent visit to India as part of the Group Study Exchange program. Azad, who is a 1999 graduate of Tomball High School, visited several International Rotary Club projects while in India as part of her visit. During the club’s meeting, Azad (center) presented Tomball Mayor Gretchen Fagan (left) with a traditional Indian greeting garland and Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce President Bruce Hillegeist (right) with a cultural spirit ornament.
