Election Update: Where and when to vote

For those voting in the Magnolia, Tomball or Waller primary runoff or municipal elections, there are some items to keep in mind.

The primary runoff for all counties will be held April 13. Though early voting ended April 9, those registered to vote on Election Day can do so at the following locations:

For local voters in Harris County, locations include the Tomball Public Works Building in Tomball.

In Montgomery County, polling locations include the Malcolm Purvis Library in Magnolia and the West Montgomery County Annex in Montgomery. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In Waller County, locations include the Waller County Annex Building and the Waller County Fairgrounds. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The deadline for registering to vote in the May 8 municipal elections has passed, but those who are registered can begin early voting on April 26. Early voting also will be held May 1 and May 3-4.

A Meet the Candidates luncheon for the City of Magnolia council and mayoral candidates will be held on Thursday, April 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Celeste Graves Education Support Center on Nichols Sawmill Road.

The Waller Area Chamber of Commerce will also host a candidate forum on Thursday, April 22, in the Waller ISD boardroom, 2214 Waller Street, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Candidates for mayoral and council positions will be on hand to answer questions from the public.
