Local runoff election results

Montgomery, Harris and Waller counties each held runoff elections April 13 and the following candidates came out on top.

Montgomery County — Republican Primary

In the race for 221st District Judge, Lisa Benge Michalk beat out John Devine with 57 percent of the votes.

In the County Court at-law No. 2 race, Claudia Laird defeated J.D. Lambright with 64 percent of the votes.

Harris County — Republican Primary

James Lombardino edged out Alice J. O’Neil in the race for the 308th District Judge, while Marc Brown defeated Danny Dexter in the 180th District Judge race.

Harris County — Democratic Primary

Tanner Garth beat out Jim Peacock in the 234th District Judge race while Bob Thomas defeated Lee Arellano in the 270th District Judge race.

Waller County — Republican Primary

Conrad Day edged out Jeff Steinhauser in the 155th District Judge race, while Joey Williams defeated Melinda Henshaw for the Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 spot. Milton Whiting beat out Leon Overby for Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 by only 7 votes.
