‘Boots’ ball to raise money for TOMAGWA

TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries will host its 5th annual Boots & Band-Aid Ball Friday, Oct. 22 at the Wyndehaven Terrace Banquet Facilities. The ball will offer fun, food, live music and an auction. The goal for this ball is to raise 10 percent of the clinic’s operating budget for direct patient care. Sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are available to support TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries in this event.

The Boots and Band-Aid Ball offers sponsorship opportunities ranging from $1,500 to $10,000 and underwriting opportunities from $500 to $7,000.

Underwriting opportunities are directly related to organizing and funding the Boots and Band-Aid Ball. Support from underwriters will allow more funds from the event to fulfill TOMAGWA’s mission. Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities will provide various recognition and publicity incentives while helping TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries provide quality, minimal fee, medical care for low-resource families within the region.

The event also offer a range of program advertisement from $125 to $500 for those who wish to publicize their companies at this event.

TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries is a full-time, non-profit, full-service family practice center that provides quality health care to low-resourced, uninsured individuals and families who do not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare.

The clinic serves residents of southwest Montgomery, southeast Waller, and northwest Harris counties. TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries does not receive support from government or United Way funding. Thus, TOMAGWA relies on financial donations of hundreds of individuals, foundations, and corporations in order to provide quality care to under served families.

TOMAGWA has been serving the community for 21 years and continues to grow. In the past year, the clinic has experienced over a 200 percent increase in patients and services rendered. With a new building, and an ever growing demand for services, TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries is excited to partner with new donors in the pursuit of changing the landscape in non-profit health care, while maintaining the highest of standards.
