Guests will be able to speak to experts from all types of home-based businesses, such as cake decorating, commercial sewing, dog obedience training, digital photography, taxidermy and auto accessorizing. Event-goers can also attend short sessions designed to help them become more business savvy and develop comprehensive business plans to help fund and/or market their business.

“There are many people who would love to make a living from their hobby, but they do not know how to take it to the next level. Some may not even realize that their talent and skill can actually make them money,” said Dr. Christina Hinkson, executive director of Continuing Education for Lone Star College. “The expo is intended to empower these individuals so they have more career options.”

For individuals who wish to further their knowledge, the expo will offer information and on-site registration for the Continuing Education classes offered at LSC-Tomball. LSC-Tomball is located at 30555 Tomball Parkway.
