Perry appoints Tomball’s Reinbeck to Facilities Commission

Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed Betty Reinbeck to the Texas Facilities Commission for a term to expire Jan. 31, 2017. The commission is responsible for the acquisition of goods, services and facilities for state government.

Reinbeck currently serves as the executive director of the Tomball Economic Development Corporation, but announced her retirement from the position in December. Her retirement is effective Feb. 28.

She is an ex-officio board member of the Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce and past president of the Sealy Chamber of Commerce and Sealy Economic Development Corporation. Reinbeck is also past chair of the State Community Development Review Committee, and a past member of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

She received a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University.
