Tomball High School names 2011 top students

alex clark Senior Alexander Clark (at left) ranked number one out of 698 students in the Tomball High School Class of 2011. Clark plans to attend Texas Tech University and double major in computer science and electrical engineering.

 

During his high school career, Clark participated in National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Mu Alpha Theta and the Science Honor Society.  He was also the team captain for the football team, took part on the varsity power lifting team and tutored ESL students. 

 

He also received the Outstanding AP Physics Student Award, was selected as a National Merit Commended Student and was named the Touchdown Club of Houston Scholar Athlete of the Year.

 

Senior Zachary Musick ranked second in his graduating class at Tomball High School. He plans to attend the University of Houston Honors College in the fall, and major in music composition.

After college, he would like to compose film scores.  Musick (left) participated in the Tomball Cougar Pride Band, German Club, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. 

 

He received the UIL Scholar Award, Outstanding AP Economics Student Award, Outstanding AP Chemistry Student Award and the Outstanding English IV AP Student Award.
