Magnolia West HS hosts Pink Out for a Cure

Magnolia West High School (MWHS) Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is holding the Third Annual Pink Out Football Game on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7:30 p.m. against the Stratford Spartans.  Students and fans alike are being encouraged to wear pink in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Last year, MWHS FCCLA raised $2,500 for breast cancer research and will be presenting the check to a representative of the Houston Susan G. Komen foundation during Friday’s “Pink Out” pep rally.

In hopes of increasing the contribution, MWHS FCCLA will be selling T-shirts for $10 which read “Wear Pink; Fight for a Cure” and many other pink accessories.

Join the Mustangs on Oct. 21 as they fight for a cure against breast cancer.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
