|
The Society of Samaritans announced that they are still searching for Tri-County Wildfire victims in need of assistance. SOS said they still have appliances furniture, including beds, household items and clothing among other items. Victims of the Tri-County Wildfire are asked to contact SOS if they need any of these items. SOS is also available to assist with financial needs. Acting Director Mildred Ashworth stated that the organization has received much help from the community. “God has blessed you through the generosity of many people from our area, Texas and many other states,” she said. Portable on Demand Storage (PODS) has also donated some of its storage spaces to SOS temporarily. Fire victims may store their belongings for a limited time. SOS has many assistance options available for recent wildfire victims. The office, located at 31355 Friendship Dr., is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 281-259-8452 or visit societyofsamaritans.com.
