TEAM to host ‘Crazy Dollar Daze’

Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM) is set to hold its Crazy Dollar Daze Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the charity’s thrift shop, located at 300 W. Main St.

 

Nearly everything in the store will be priced at $1.

 

The TEAM center operates a food pantry and a clothing distribution facility. In emergency situations TEAM will help clients with rent, utilities, medical treatment, prescriptions, eyeglasses and more on a limited basis as resources allow. 

 

Proceeds from the resale shop are used to support the food pantry and utilities assistance program.

 

TEAM is a non-profit organization formed in 1985 by 13 local Tomball churches to help needy, low-income families of the Tomball area with short-term assistance.

 

The organization is supported solely by donations from the member churches and the community. The organization does not receive government funds.
